Along with the development of the microcomputer, every kind of theapplication software, compare with traditional instrument, the virtualinstrument have the obvious technical advantage in knowledgeware,processing capability, the ratio between function and price, andmaneuverability. The introduction of the virtual instrument to theuniversity cannot only increase the eficiency and quality of testing,teaching and research work, but also provide the efective method toreduce the cost of the experiment instrument.Using the LabVIEW GUI as the developing platform, constructing theexperiment system and instrument front-panel, collecting and real-timeprocessing signal, the output and analysis of data and diagraph areshown on the front-panel vividly and intuitionisticly. On the basis ofthis, the Virtual Signal Spectrum Analyzer are developed. It can carryout the function of data processing, expressing, transfering, storing anddisplaying. Compared to normal signal analyzers, these advantages areunexampled. With the idea of virtual synthetic experimentin strument,teachers can design special experiments to students according to theactual requirement on teaching and the diferent student's situation tosimulation of the current instrument equipments. In this way can liftthe teaching experiment level to a new step. From the idea mentionedabove, this paper further study how to construct the virtual instrumentnetwork laboratory system base on the virtual instrument system also.
