With the computer's development and popularization, digitizer is replacing simulation device gradually. The computer measure and control technology plays a more and more important role in the process of production and scientific research. As the time progresses, the conventional instrument has emerged shortages. So it is necessary to improving the function of the conventional instrument.In this paper, the conception of the Virtual-Instrument and the merit of which against conventional instrument have been introduced. The hardware base of personal computer has been analyzed. Base on the auctorial experience of developing the VI, the virtual instrument design idea about the personal computer has been displayed. According to this idea, a practicality data acquisition system has been designed.In this paper, the logic structure of virtual function registered system and the design concerning the software and hardware have been explicated. The object-oriented programming technology has been used and virtual function instrument system in which the displacement signal can be collection, disposal, analyses and display by design the center control modular, data collection modular, data memory and playback modular and post treatment modular.Virtual-Instrument is a newly subject. The thought in this paper can provide some idea for other traditional test instrument, such as ultrasonic detection on concrete and shock testing with VI. The project needs further study. The program compiled in this study needs to be optimized and be made more practical.
