Design And Realization Of Production Planning Management And Production Query For SMMEs

With the development of informization, more and more SMMEs (Small & Medium Manufacturing Enterprise) realized importance of information management and joined the course of implementing enterprise infomatization. Production activities of enterprise are so complex that must be directed and controlled by uniform plan to ensure favoring production through all departments' cooperation. Planning management, as an important function of enterprise management, means a great deal to operation of enterprise. However, because of disadvantages of manual planning management, process of establishing plan is very bothering and the results are rough. Nowadays demands of market are very changeful can't be responded timely by plan so production fluctuates greatly and satisfaction rate is low. The means, using information technology to realize complex production plan work by computer, can ensure veracity of plan, enhance work efficiency greatly, decrease the cost and upgrade competition power of enterprise. Therefore, it means a great deal to promote our country SMMEs informatization construction by developing adapted planning management system.Based on the project of development and application of MIS (Management Information System) for a certain automobile subassembly production enterprise, through investigation in the factory, the dissertation analyzes planning management modes of SMMEs and their problems. Aimed at SMMEs1 characteristics, according to production types of SMMEs, using MRPII/ERP advanced management theory for reference, planning management system is designed. Based on explanations of basic data of planning management and business process of production planning management in SMMEs, the dissertation makes requirement analysis of MPS (Master Production Schedule) and MRP (Material Requirement Planning), designs conceptual models and makes detailed design. Also, RCCP (Rough-cut Capacity Planning) is designed to feed back capacity conditions of enterprise. The planning management system is a prototype one based on the project of the first phase. It is developed by Microsoft VB.Net and database server of Microsoft SQL Server 2000.According to the need of production management and further demands of management information system of enterprise, production query function is designed and developed to get the production information of each operation and gather the basic production data which can assist to make decisions. Requirement analysis and realization of production query function is introduced. The part has been implemented successfully in the factory.
