Research On Cotton-spinning Enterprise Quality Knowledge Management System

In the era of knowledge-driven economy, knowledge is the important resource of enterprises. How to manage knowledge effectively is the key by which enterprises improve the efficiency of management, promote quality, increase incomes, and win the competition.There is a large amount of knowledge in the quality management process of Manufacturing enterprises: such as the working experience of quality inspection personnel and administrative staff, the whole quality knowledge of raw materials and products, the principles and formulas about quality analysis, and the skill for quality abnormal diagnosis, etc. In computer-aided quality management system, the problem of "How to manage and use the knowledge of quality" is in urgent need of a solution. Moreover, the traditional quality management system (QMS), which based on date only have functions on Product's quality information classification, storage, and generating, along with functions of create statements table and charts. It is unable to carry out functions like quality control, quality evaluation for materials, and abnormal diagnostic on producing process, which must based on related knowledge.By bringing in knowledge management and application technology, the Quality Knowledge Management System (QKMS) improves the function and structure of traditional QMS. It gives computer the capability of automatic inference and decision, and make it possible to store and share the personal experience in quality controlling process. All these improvements make QKMS more powerful to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of enterprise management.This dissertation mainly explores key technologies and Theoretical foundation of QKMS. It divided into 5 parts:Part I: Analyze the background and development of quality management and knowledge management technologies, and the significance of this dissertation.Part II: Design the system model and structure of QKMS, according to the actual situation of Cotton Quality Knowledge Management and the target of system .Part III: Discuss the design pattern of knowledge base. And by referring to many popular knowledge representation and knowledge storage technique, design a suitable knowledge base QKMS.Part IV: Make comprehensive study and discuss on several key technologies of QKMS.Finally, presents the instance of QKMS, to introduce the functions of system more concretely.
