Based on the research project of Quality Management Sub-System in Changfeng Computer Integrated Information System (CF_C2I2), how to establish the knowledge base system, how to represent the knowledge and the knowledge processing method in the system are presented in this paper. An expert system for vehicle troubleshooting is established through combining the knowledge base and the inference engine into existing databases.The paper introduces the systematic modeling method, and puts forward a kind of integrated and visually modeling method. Modeling software – CORE is adopted to carry on modeling analysis and design for the quality management system.Then the connection of database and knowledge base is introduced. It is necessary and feasible to design and establish a small function model of knowledge representation infused into the quality management system Different ways of knowledge representation lead to different inferential measures. Uncertain knowledge representation and processing are involved in this paper. The knowledge representation method based on fuzzy Petri network is used to express uncertain knowledge and make use of dynamic characteristics of fuzzy Petri network to achieve the reasoning.Finally, the paper focuses on applying the methods mentioned above in the quality management and the troubleshooting subsystem in order to enrich and fulfill it. In this system, a relational database is built, and the productive formula repository basing on Fuzzy Petri Network is established to process the reasoning on utilizing the dynamic characteristics. As a supplement, the system's deficiencies and the further directions are presented.
