Study On CLI-Based Automatic Network Management Tool

With the rapid development of computer networks, network management becomes increasingly important. Most of existing network management system use centralization of management based on C/S, one of the most typical protocal is SNMP. The SNMP-based network management has features of the structure-oriented functions, centralized control, support broad and simple agreement . SNMP network brought great convenience for the people who manage and maintain for large-scale multi-platform network management. However, as the SNMP version must meet compatibility upward and the technical staff has limitations of SNMP network management in the design phase, gradually it has been exposed certain shortcomings inherent in the nature of the large-scale application.The author first introduced the theory of network management model, composition, history and current development.
