Research Of SI Automatic Simulation And Reports Building Strategy

With the increase of integrated circuit switch rate and PCB(Printed Circuit Board) density, Signal Integrity(SI) has become one of main problems in high-speed design. Therefore, the introduction of SI simulation tools in high-speed design is inevitable.The simulation tools today, however, still have some disadvantages. For example, the problem of a lack of automatization has been existing in the output and the keep of simulation results of PCB. The simulation results still have to be kept into reports manually, which will occupy a lot of time and directly affect the efficiency of PCB Simulation.Therefore, facing these problems, this paper advanced the original function, and realized SI simulation automatization by programme.First, signal integrity concept and the design of SI simulation automatization were introduced. Second, the development in report building module was explained in detail, and then communication skill between SISA2.0 and Cadence was narrated. At last, the thesis summarized all work finished that was related to this project, and prospected the evolution of this project.Now the software is undergoing test by client and has received good comments.
