Application And Research Of Signal Integrity Simulating Automatization Based On Cadence Software

When we entered the 21st Century, we entered a new era for electronic products. With the larger scale and higher working frequency of digital system, the problem of Signal Integrity(SI) has becoming more and more severely. We need to use simulation to solve SI problem. However, Cadence tools dealing with Signal Integrity have some limitation which can't satisfy consumers: depending overfull on manual work, still have disadvantages in automation, need lots of time on writing simulating report.Faced these problems, this paper brought relevant scheme of simulating automatization for Signal Integrity. By using secondary development technology, we advanced the original function in Cadence software, which making the manual operation on simulation into automation mode, also the simulation report will be built automatically. The overmuch dependence on people of Cadence Simulating tools can be relieved and the efficiency of simulating analysis can be advanced. Begin with the conception of Signal Integrity, the thesis introduced the design model of Signal Integrity Simulate Automatization (SISA), the thesis also brings several key technologies for this platform and describes their design principles and implementations. The technologies including: Simulating condition preparing, Modifying automatization for top file, Automation, Programming based on Skill language.
