The Technology Of Secondary Development On Cadence In Signal Integrity Simulation Based On SKILL

With the development of the microelectronics technology and computer science, because of quickly raised systematic clock frequency and continuously shorten signal jump edge,signal integrity(SI) problem become more and more prominent, more complicated and multi-condition analysis has been required during the design, expenses and time of simulating is increasing sharply. Today's EDA tools, however, depend overfull on manual work, still have disadvantages in automation. The cost will be enhanced and development cycle will be extended.In this paper, we introduced the concept of signal integrity first, emphasis to the origins of reflection problem and the measure of diminution. Then we introduced the function and the localization of the Cadence EDA software, brought signal integrity simulation automatization platform based on Cadence EDA softwere, and constructed the general frame of the software, and described the key technologies particularly at last.
