Design And Development Of Small-middle E-government Based On .NET

With the rapid development of global economy, information and network, electronic government (e-government) have been the aim that many countries and regions are going for, a focus and significant practice field. Implementation of e-government, is not only the basic direction of government administering reformation and innovation, but also the fundamental power to promote national economy and informational society.Starting from the connotation of e-government, the thesis expatiates its development, discusses the status of e-government in government informational, and expatiates the concept and theoretical model of e-government. Then, the small and medium-sized e-government system is constructed based on .NET platform. This solution adopts the multistage distributing B/S (Browser/Server) structure with 3 tiers based on Internet, which makes the system more robust and extensible. The clients access and query the system information through a web browser. The e-government system shares and exchanges information fully, and provides technical support for official automation.This thesis explains the design for the e-government system in details, including objective, principle, function module, architecture, database and security. The database design and security management are the key parts of the thesis. In the overall view, to design the database for the whole system is for the design of each subsystem. The system analyzes the distribution strategy and access controlling of the user authority according to the concrete business condition of the whole system, then utilizes the user authority management method based on the role, and then combines with the establishment of the data sheet, finally realizes the user security management. The whole system is carried out with the UML modeling completely by Microsoft visio2003. The database server is SQLServer2000, and the information server is Internet Information Server 6.0, under the .NET frame, with C# as the main design program language.This system has been applied in a gas administrative office and has operated well. It has achieved the design goal and met the need of the daily information work. Along with the development of information, e-government system will play an important role in government informatization.
