| This project aims to build ERP system platform for Haier Hong Kong trading company. Today software applications have brought significant benefits to more and more modern enterprises. But the large amout of investment and the slow implementation speed of information technology are still the bottleneck preventing many enterprises from becoming information based ones. The Haier Hong Kong trading company needs to build the ERP platform in a short time, and requires customization according to the actual overseas service. A realization method based on open source software is proposed in this article. Through the analysis of Compiere system's structure and the standard business requirements, an implementation method and an enterprise ERP application framework based on open source software are brought up in this article.First, the system framework is proposed according to the analysis of business flow. Because differences exist in business operations of Haier's 13 overseas trading companies, this project's target is to quickly recoganize the general module so as to builds a good foundation for later implementation.At the current stage, the problems occurring to Haier business management are as follows:There is no universal management standard for commercial flow. The order information cannot be shared. There is no universal management standard to the customers. The customer creditline cannot be controlled effectively.
