After many years'development and successful application in enterprises, the systems of CAD, CAPP, and CAM have respectively played a significant role in the fields such as automatic product design, automatic technique process and automatic numerical control programming. These systems have become the inseparable parts in the area of information administration in an enterprise. However, each of these systems is independent and cannot realize automatic transmission and share information with each other. Therefore, only through seeking to find a kind of technology that is capable of not only safely but also efficiently managing or controlling relevant data and process, can we better an enterprise's operating efficiency, productive benefit as well as the competitive ability in market. The technology of PDM (Product Data Management) is just born and developing under such circumstances. PDM has played an important role in the fields such as improving the ability of managing isomerous data during the product's full life, raising the standard of product, perfecting after service, lowering the cost of product and helping an enterprise obtaining competitive advantage. The dissertation is based on the technology of PDM, mainly discussing and researching on the integration modes of CAD/CAPP/CAM, their concurrent engineering and their putting into practice. After analyzing the integrating process between PDM and CAD/CAPP/CAM, the author probed into the integrating modes between PDM and CAD/CAPP/CAM, put forward the integrating project for PDM and CAD/CAPP/CAM.Through discussing the reflecting technique among the STEP data models, the author illustrated the significance of this reflection, and conducted reflection in the mode of STEP by virtue of EXPRESS-X, fulfilled the integration between...
