Implementation Of QoS In IP Network Management System Of China Telecom

Network QoS technology is the one of the core tech of next generation network, it is also the core of the CN2 network of CHINA telecommunication. The best effort QoS supported by Internet, is offering indiscriminative response time for applications of data transmitted. But with the development of bandwidth network, Internet will be used in some applications such as interactive voice, real-time video. At this time, interactive voice and real-time video will need less delay, So the best effort Qos will not satisfy the demands for those that need higher QoS level. CHINA telecommunication CN2 network will achieve the quality guarantee of the whole network through the mature differentiated services system.The network-management system of CHINANET only supports alarm of network fault, NetFlow monitoring and management of part resource. It lacks some functions that the modern network should have, such as the support of centralized management model, the service of port to port operation effective, management of fault, performance monitor, analysis of directing and distributing about whole net flow, the analysis of router stabilization, in allusion to above questions, the fifth project of china telecom network management will build the unitive IP network management system, it will manage the ChinaNet, the whole network of CN2 and all POP abroad and circuits of cross country.The writer of this paper participates in this project of china telecom network management with responsibility for implement of QoS.
