| Along with the rapid development of economy, the amount of motor vehicles has a rapid growth in china. As a result, the difficulty of parking has perplexed many cities in recent years. To meet the growing parking needs, large scale and ultra-large scale parking lots keep coming to the fore. The classical parking lot management system has not been equal to the task. First, users cannot find the available parking space conveniently by themselves. It not only makes time waste and failure operation, but also leads to a huge waste of social energy resource. Second, the increasing of the vehicle amount enlarged the difficulty of management and the safety disadvantage of classical system, the system no longer ensure every vehicle's safety.To solve the problem, the paper carries the overall system design to the parking lot management first. Using radio frequency card as the management medium and the optimization of workflow enhances the operational efficiency and security performance. Then, taking the parking space detecting system as the foundation, the problem of shortest path searching based on genetic algorithm is discussed. Combining the database and information display device, automatic parking-guiding system is proposed. The presentation of humanization information, not only has facilitated customers but also improved the actual utilization rate of parking spaces. Finally, the paper emphasis on license plate locating, characters separation and character recognition by using digital image processing technology. Through information processing and analysis matching of the vehicle license, vehicle color and vehicle type, a new vehicle legitimacy authentication mechanism which improved systematic security is proposed.Using computer as its control platform and synthesizing digital image processing technology, knowledge of genetic algorithm, database technology, automatic control and test technology, the system effectively grapples with the problem of low efficiency and poor safety. |
