Design And Development Of Parking Lot Exit’s Fastpass Management System

With China’s continuing economic boom,the demand for vehicles is increasing and the automobile industry has become one of the pillar industries.According to statistics,in 2015 China’s auto sales reached 24.6 million,and had been more than 20 million for at least three years and the total had been more than one hundred million.The demand for parking lots’ number and size is also increasing.In order to better solve the problem of car parking management and basing on the existing IC card issuing parking consuming,expensive labor and other issues,proposed a new parking management system combined license plate image recognition technology.Basing on the continuously improved plate image recognition rate and use the combination of embedded technology,desktop application software technology,database technology,computer voice broadcast technology to design and implement a parking lot entrance speedy passage management system.This system simplifies the payment process by removing the artificial opening and reading card when the vehicles pass to save time.Hardware system architecture includes a core controller,and sense detectors,video capture devices,gates,computers.STM32 Core Controller detects vehicles by using sense detectors,gets the image by the video capture device implements and enables communication between the gates and the computer through the serial port.In the application software,using C#high-level programming language to design software system to implement the functions of license plate recognition,hardware control,database information processing and human-computer interaction.By using programming to complete the function of images acquisition and storage management,extraction plate number.Implementing database to access and storage information about vehicles accessing,VIP data.Through data processing to achieve a rapid release of VIP vehicles,quick calculation of parking fee and voice prompts.This system has a search function by entering the license plate number to get the data logs.Long time test proves that the system is stable for identifying of ordinary vehicles plate number and quick calculation of parking fee,VIP vehicles can be quickly and automatically released under the VIP type.The parking lot exit’s fastpass management system shorten time of the vehicles to enter and ease the holdup and reach the level of domestic mainstream car parking management.
