With the deepening of economic system reform and market economy, Chinese radio and television industry fulfils a mouthpiece function, meanwhile it can direct economic activities, participate in social activities, and accelerate the development of economy. Its economic attributes are more and more clear. As a part of cultural industry, the industrialization of radio and television industry is already an actual reality. From 1990s, the enormous energy which was brought by market economy has quickly accelerated the development of media. Radio and television industry has become an industry. However, in the procedure of development, there are some problems. Ours keeps a certain distance with the radio and television industry of the western developed countries. In this background, it is necessary to strengthen research towards the industrialization of Chinese radio and television industry. This paper studies the industrialization of Chinese radio and television industry from three parts.The first part deepens into the theory connotation of the industrialization of radio and television industry.First, it defines the concept of he industrialization of radio and television industry. Radio and television industry is an important part of cultural industry. Cultural industry is a series of activities which produce, reproduce, deposit, and assign the goods and service of radio and television according to industrial standard. That is an industry which deals with the production and business activities of the goods and service of radio and television, and provides relevant service for them.Parlance domestic and abroad says that the core of the industrialization of radio and television industry is marketing and socialization. Marketing means open doors, break down monopoly, compete freely, and stop the separation between administration and items. Resources (capitals and talents) flow freely according to marketing principles, optimizing configuration. Socialization means the conversion of government roles- administration dominant transforms into market dominant.
