Research On Fault Diagnosis Expert System Based On Fault Tree Analysis

Along with the development of artificial intelligence science, the Expert System one of advanced technology of the fault diagnosis was gratulated more and more, becomed a hearty branch domain of artificial intelligence, and was applied to the fault diagnosis widely. In this dissertation the application of Expert System technique on the fault diagnosis of Mine hoist was studied based on the basic principle of the fault diagnosis and Fault Tree Analysis.At the beginning, this paper discussed the framework of the Fault Diagnosis Expert System for Mine Hoist by studying definition and theory of Expert System. The foundation of Knowledge Base and the realization of Reasoning Machine were expatiated in detail. The mode of the knowledge gain and the pattern of knowledge expression were proposed when the Knowledge Base was founded , and the characteristic of uncertainty of knowledge was disposed. the Knowledge Base was modularized and the composing of module was introduced in detail. The Fault Tree Analysis was inducted when Knowledge Base was founded, the course and the method were expounded in detail based on fault tree. At the same time, this paper discussed the Reasoning Machine of the fault diagnosis expert system for Mine hoist, The expert system was made with forward and backward chaining , best-first search.This expert system can distinguish fault patterns, analyze fault reasons and put forward proposals by using this expert system to commutator of some fluid drive system . The result basically conformed to the reality, and it had the very good true value . Finally, on the basis of the summarization of the research work in this paper, further research and investigation on the fault diagnosis expert system were discussed.
