Ultra-wideband (UWB) communication is a wireless communication technique, in which data are transferred using narrow pulses with very short duration. It has many advantages, for example high transmission rate, low power consumption, good security, robustness to multipath and low cost. Especially, it does not need extra frequency spectrum, and can coexist with the existing wireless communication systems at the same frequency band, which makes it draw much attention nowadays when the frequency spectrum resource has become more and more precious. UWB technology has wildly applied in many filed such as short distance high speed communication, radar, wireless location and so on.This paper focus on the transmitter structure in UWB communication system. Study and designed analog and digital impluse generator, guided by the signal integrity analysis finished the hardware PCB design of UWB transiver. Finally the transmitter and receiver board has been built and got a satisfaction result. Totally speaking, the thesis includes the following parts:(1) Research the wave shape of the UWB communication system.(2) To meeting the application cases, analog and digital method of impulse generator are discussed in the thesis.(3) Result is given from the oscilloscope and compared different scheme.(4) Signal intergrity is discussed to avoid high speed signal distortion when designing the hardware.(5) Study and research the parts of hardware design of UWB transmitter and receiver.Through simulation and test on several transmitter design scheme, compared results has been given. Impulse wave has been examed on high speed wide frequency spectrum oscillograph,we have a satisfaction result on amplitude, shape, and shot time duration. Reasearch the hardware design of transmitter and receiver, finished the PCB design guided by Signal intergrity. The research and result are of valuable worth for UWB transmitter system...
