Digital technology transformed from analogue technology has direct influence on people’s life. It makes the voice, image and information stored and transmitted in binary form. Triple play is the product of the progress of technology. Information in different physical forms and electrical signals can be transferred through a transmission carrier or mixed transmission carriers when triple play is realized. Baseband signal which means an original signal without spectrum shifting and transferring is inevitable in signal processing in triple play. The design and implementation of baseband rapid processing hardware system is of importance and necessity to the baseband processing and the whole control system. High speed signal is also used on the baseband processing board. Thus, this paper specifically introduces the problem of signal integrity and the results of the simulation.The triple play platform system consists of baseband processing board, bidirectional radio frequency board, control board and decoing board.This paper introduces the scheme of baseband processing hardware platform. The work includes software and hardware design of the system, especially pay special attention to power design and high-speed signal integrity. The paper also covers PCB design, layout of the components and placing and routing of the board and the comprehensive test.The main work is reflected in the following aspects: 1) Analysis of the system performance of triple play based on what is required. Complete the preliminary design. 2) Put forward using TI’s digital media processing chip TMS320DM8168 as the main chip of ARM part and meanwhile design scheme based on Altera’s 5SGSMD5K3F40C4 N as the processing chip of FPGA part. At the same time, design the overall structure of the processing board and the peripheral modules. 3) Using Cadence Spb 16.3 software to complete the hardware design of the processing platform, using modular design method to design power supply, interconnection system, peripheral system and configuration system. 4) In order to get the best transmission effect, high speed signal integrity should be taken into consideration after the PCB routing. 5) Purchase components and weld the board, then test the power supply system. Setup the hardware and software environment and debug the board.
