The developing trend of communication system has been becoming the hardware unification,software modularization and reconfiguration.The morden communication systems mostly use FPGA as a high performance platform to meet the compatibility and scalability of the multi-standard demodulation module,or software defined radio(SDR).This thesis developed two kinds of demodulation platform in one frame.One is the multi-standard digital demodulation platform,of which the intermediate frequency(IF)is 720 MHz with a bandwidth 400 MHz,the sampling rate is up to 2.88 GHz.The other is SDR frame with an IF 140 MHz and bandwidth 70 MHz.Both are integred in a PCI Express host.The main contents of the thesis include:1.Lists the indexes of two designed platforms respectively,analyzes the functional requirements of the main parts of the platform,and completes the design and analysis of the overall architecture of the platform.2.Design of the all-digital demodulation platform.It is mainly divided into high precision signal acquisition,vector signal process and high speed data transmission,including the design of input signal conditioning channel,required clock circuit,power and allocation of vector signal processing control unit,the realize of high speed data transmission based on the ISERDES and OSERDES,the analysis and hardware design of PCI Express bus protocol.3.Design of demodulation platform using SDR technology.It includes acquisition,signal process and high-speed data transmission.The design of the input circuit covers signal conditioning,anti-aliasing filter and clock distribution.Other circuits such as configuration,fiber interface based on the SFP+ optical module etc.also describled.4.Finally,the power supply,interface performance,function and configuration of the platform are verified and analyzed through reality.It shows that the indicators,the function design of the two platform are achieved the desire,verifies the correctness of the design.Then the advantages and disadvantages of two kinds of communication platform are comparatively discussed.
