Abstract/Summary:
With the development of Mobile Communication Network, normal central network can't satisfy the demand of clients, clients need more and more"freedom", which will be done by Mobile Ad Hoc Network. Mobile Ad Hoc Network is a none-enter Network, its chain between two nodes is implemented by several hops on other nodes. Though any node is disabled or quit, there is not much trouble to the whole network. And for Ad Hoc terminal, we need a convenient and fast computer interface, and that is USB2.0 interface, which is just the paper's subject.USB protocol is host (PC) centered, a USB system is composed by a USB host, a USB hub, and USB devices. USB protocol has four transfer types: Control Transfer, Bulk Transfer, Interrupt Transfer, and Isochronous Transfer.The paper introduces the CYPRESS FX2, which is the core of the USB system. CYPRESS's EZ-USB FX2 is the world's first USB 2.0 integrated microcontroller, which integrates the USB 2.0 transceiver, SIE, enhanced 8051 microcontroller, and a programmable peripheral interface in a single chip. In addition, it has one control endpoint and 4 transfer endpoint.After illustrating the theory and IC, the paper introduces the software of this project. The software is consisted of firmware, driver, and application program. These three parts are relating with each other, which confirm the transfer from PHY layer to application layer of USB system.The task implements the transfer of USB system, including the control transfer of endpoint 0, SlaveFIFO between host and FPGA, and GPIF between host and SRAM. We make a USB part PCB, which is designed for linking to FPGA, and construct USB-FPGA system.
