With the fast development of Digital TV technology, MPEG-2 Transport Stream(TS) has been applied in many digital broadcasting standard, such as DVB, ATSC and ISDB,which defined how to transfer TS in different transmission mediea.The content of TS can be MPEG-2 video, audio or other data information.Therefore, MPEG-2 has been regarded as data container in digital broadcasting TV area. Meanwhile, TS could be used in bad conditon communicating channel which have high data error rate. It has been regarded as a kind of popular stream format in Digital TV area. With the fast development of computer science technology.The techonology of de-multiplexing by software has been mature, it is necessary to design DVB TS receiver in digital broadcasting TV based on Personal computer.The dissertation introduced three TS digital TV receivers based on PC,and proposes a method of TS receiving bus based on USB2.0 interface, then fulfill the design of receiving digital TV TS in different transmission channel. In this thesis, the function feature and detail software and hardware designed method of each receiver also have been particularly discussed. Meanwhile, the test result and detail debugging process have been offered, and the results show that the design can save cost and utilize resources more sufficiently, furthermore, it can satisfy the system desire compactly and efficiently. This design is to be put into wide usage in digital TV streams data receiving area.The main content and work in this dissertation include:1.According the particular requests of the project, choose appropriate chips and fulfill the solution design of each receiver. Deeply comprehend the USB protocol and the control chip's function feature.2.Profoundly understand the transmission mechanism of DVB-S, DVB-C and ASI interface.Seriously research the principle of QAM and QPSK.3.Fulfill the hardware and software design of the three receivers and PCB drawing4.Carefully Test and debug the three receivers. Modify the design.
