The Research Of Network Education Resource Creating Based On Semantic Web Technology And Ontology

As the rapid growth of Internet, Network Education that is an important type of the Distance Education, has been an important part of current education in the past of twenty years. However, the criterion of web resource is not compatible. The semantic definition is not strict. The validity and the well-structure are absent. There is a serious bottleneck in the progress of Internet especially Network-Education application. So Tim Berners-Lee brought forward the Semantic Web and Ontology. We try to extend current Internet by inserting the content that denotes some meanings. In the Semantic web, all kinds of resources are not only conjoint information, but also contain the real meanings of the information. So the automatization and intelligence of the computer is boosted in the field information disposal.In the thesis the primary theory and technology of the semantic web are firstly presented, then the analysis of Ontology theory. Some problems in the Network Education are studied. The root of the problem is found. The root is from of Network Education Resource. A frame for Network Education resource creation is put forward that is from the metadata and through exertion of the semantic web and the Ontology. In the frame, some feasibility research can be done and a semantic model is constructed for the Network Education. Under the methodology of software engineering, there is a practice for the creation of the Network Education domain ontology. What's more, one domain-ontology of Travel.owl' is developed based on OWL-language. Finally, some utilization researches are done for domain-ontology, including domain-ontology storage means and ontology search. A semantic web search experiment system is developed that is not perfect but testifies ontology search feasibility.The innovations of thesis are as followed. The semantic web and the Ontology are adopted. The current Network Education resource are surveyed and analyzed and valued in the way of Education metadata. The creation of Network Education domain ontology is practiced.
