The information infrastructure is the foundation of the development of informationalization. It is the nerve center of the city. Shanghai's construction of information infrastructure was continuously in the national leading ranks. The construction of information infrastructure has already achieved a relatively perfect degree. But the quantity of data is big, and is distributed in many units. Moreover, various data format and the standard of the construction of the database are not unified. So it is hard to realize the effective data sharing, the conformity and the unified management. Under this circumstance, the Shanghai Information Committee suggested constructing the data model of information infrastructure in professional level and database of Shanghai information infrastructureThe paper takes the project-database construction of Shanghai information infrastructure-as the strut. The author research on GIS space theory and the essential technology and database design theory and method, Geodatabase data model, database middleware ArcSDE, database software SQLServer and so on; the author constructed the information infrastructure data model in profession level which is based on Geodatabase, and designed the general space attribute data management system. In the data model of information infrastructure and in the space attribute data management system foundation, the author completed the database construction of Shanghai information infrastructure.There are seven chapters in this thesis. The first chapter is the preface. It introduces the state of the basic information infrastructure in Shanghai and the significance of constructing the management system of information infrastructure. The second chapter is about the theory and basis of technique of designing the special database of information infrastructure. First, it states the theory and methods of designing special database. Then, it briefly introduces the Geodatabase model in ESRI Company. It emphasizes on the way of Geodatabase modeling which is based on UML. The third chapter is mainly about data model of information infrastructure in Shanghai. It explains several problems in the process of information infrastructure modeling in professional level. In chapter four, according to the practical demand, the author operates the design of database of information infrastructure in shanghai. The fifth chapter introduces the analyses and control of the quality of data processing of information infrastructure in shanghai. It introduces how we analyze and control the data quality in the process of information infrastructure construction. Chapter 6 is mainly about how to practice the information infrastructure in shanghai. After constructing information infrastructure in shanghai, we successfully applied it to the Shanghai Information Infrastructure GIS platform And Shanghai Underground Pipeline Communications Management Information System. The last chapter makes the conclusion and forecast. It summarizes the research of this thesis and shows its study results. Finally, it provides the study direction of this area.Main study results:1) It introduced the common process of modeling GIS database on the basis of researching theory and methods of designing special database.2) On the basis of analyzing Massive information infrastructure and Multi-source data, the author gives the basic idea and the system of Scalable, high-performance information infrastructure data model.3) The author designed the spatial attribute data management system which is suitable for dealing with enormous space of Attribute data4) The author realized the construction of information infrastructure in shanghai, and successfully applied it on the Shanghai Information Infrastructure GIS platform and the Shanghai Underground Pipeline Communications Management Information System.
