In recent years, with the rapid development of Chinese aerospaceindustry, the precise orbit determination of spacecraft has highertechnical requirement for on-board navigation receiver,which can not bemet by present single frequency hardware GPS receiver. However, becausesoftware receiver has the advantages of openness and flexibility,sophisticated and high-precise navigation algorithm can be convenientlyimplemented in it to improve the positioning precision and compatibility.Therefore, multi-frequency and multi-system navigation software receiveris the design scheme for next generation receiver. Thus, theimplementation of software receiver is a big challenge faced by the designof next generation on-board navigation receiver in spacecraft.This thesis makes thorough study and research in the design andimplementation of single frequency software GPS receiver. Specificcontents is as follows: probe into the related technical background;introduction of the design of high-speed data acquisition and processingcard;realization of the acquisition of real GPS signal;completion ofthe design, test and simulation of GPS receiver in MATLAB;Design of theoptimized algorithm of GPS digital signal processing to implement thesoftware GPS receiver in DSP,which improve the efficiency and meet thereal-time requirement.The design and implementation process of software single-frequencyGPS receiver has laid foundation for the further design of multi-frequencyand multi-system navigation receiver, which the high-speed dataacquisition and processing card can be directly used and the design ofalgorithm can be used for reference.
