On The Sustainable Development Of The Libraryship Of China In The Network Environment

The libraryship of China is facing opportunities overwhelm challenges because of thepopularity of the network environment. For example, the information flow is beyond thelimitation of the time and the space , the share of information resource has become true tosome extend , the work of library is greatly changed by the application of the informationtechnology and so on .Just as the coin has the two sides , the blind worship to the informationtechnology leads to the tendency of technocracy , and this in return leads to the newchallenges facing the libraryship of China , therefore ,it is important to meet the challenges inorder to the sustainable development of libraryship of China while taking use of theadvantages of the information technology .Based on the background above , after expounding the challenges facing the libraryshipof China in this paper ,the status of libraryship of China is stressed and elaborated includingthe overall situation of the library of China , of the librarians , of the patrons and the patronsservice and that of the information resource . By analysis , six policies are suggestedconcerning about the sustainable development of libraryship of China in the networkenvironment.
