Love, marriage and family are the theme of our life, it is also an eternal topic of human beings. Following the rapid development of economy and the growing work pressure, the young people put more attention into work and study. On the other hand, the way of make friends and the marriage concept of people’s are changing greatly. Traditional middleman introducing matchmaking is the main forms among young people in the process of dating and getting marriage. But many single young people eager to make friends, show themselves and even look forward to cause attention in a rapid fashion media matchmaking activity. In order to meet the needs of the consumer audience, a large number of television matchmaking programs, such as Jiangsu satellite TV matchmaking show "if you are the one" were got into our sight. In fact, as early as the 1990 s, TV matchmaking show "rose date" has been launched. Although this type of TV program launched let consumer audiences shine at the moment, but a variety of reasons lead to the TV show played not so well in the field of sustainable development, even some programs were stop broadcasted as soon as possible.In early 2010, after TV matchmaking show has been silence for a long time, Jiangsu satellite TV launched the large TV program "if you are the one" to meet the modern young people’s needs for dating and show themselves. The appearance of this show also help others television dating shows go back to the audience. From 2010 to 2010, "if you are the one" become bigger and stronger in just five years, and has been achieved the construction of the brand program through reformation. At the same time, because of the good development of "if you are the one", more and more local TV have launched their own television dating shows. Among these shows, "research" in Dragon TV and "dating show" in Hunan satellite TV have a good momentum of development. Compared with the same type of TV dating shows, we can find that "if you are the one" has their own characteristics and advantages in the part of the program or the arrangement of the content since the date of launched Because of this, "if you are the one " has been in the leading position of TV programs in the same type and can keep this advantage during the development of competition. In this article, we choose the "if you are the one" to make in-depth case analysis, and probe into its continuously improving its influence and the process of brand building, and to further explore the reasons of "if you are the one" keep advantage among the same type shows. At last we hope the research results can provide reference for the same type of TV show.
