The peasant workers in cities have been cared by many people in recent 10 years. The news about them can be found in newspaper between whiles and the news has visualized different peasant workers in cities for readers. But the peasant workers have been tagged of stereotypes by the mass media. So many experts and scholars are exclaiming:"The peasant workers are been mistaken by The thesis chooses two newspapers in Shenzhen city as our research object. By the analysis of texts I found out that figuration of peasant works in Shenzhen newspaper is consistent with the figuration of them in sociological scholars'eyes. But the figuration of peasant workers reflects the stereotypes of them in people's mind and the media is lacked of humane care for peasant workers in cities. The thesis analyzed the character of the peasant workers figuration in cities, and discussed the reason for it. At last I gave the advices to improve the figuration of peasant workers in cities papers. The body of this thesis is chapterⅡ, chapterIII, chapterIV and chapter V. The chapterⅡis the frame of reference of this research. A logical way of arguments is to advance questions, analyze questions and solve questions in next three parts: the figuration of peasant workers in Shenzhen newspaper, disadvantages of figuring peasant workers and the way how to improve the emersion of peasant workers in Shenzhen papers and other domestic cities papers.
