Peasant workers are a new type of labor force in the process of reform and opening up and urbanization. They earn a living for themselves and support the whole families while they create wealth for the city. They have been being a major force to promote economic and social development of our country. However, in the dissemination role they play,the edged peasant workers have highlighted the nature of people's personality conflicts particularly. They become a particular social class worthy of exploring.Although peasant workers are very eager to get spiritual and cultural life, there is a huge gap in real life between their real information needs and the amount of information by media. They are in the field of mass communication disadvantaged. The point is the lack of peasant migrant workers close to the media conditions and capabilities, and measures to protect are also in the lack, so that they are on the mass of vulnerable groups has become an indisputable fact. Dress in peasant workers, day-to-day conversation and behavior of such insignificant details have become the basic symbols in study of their significance in the dissemination view. Farmer brothers returning home have a slight advantage of the cultural consciousness and technological capability compared to other farmers. They could be seen as the building force that can not be ignored as an important guide in the new socialism rural construction. Apart from the spread of dual role, the contents of peasant migrant workers reported is also an important part to the theme. Media coverage are flooded with vilify and over-exaggerated, violations to the privacy of peasant workers from time to time, which greatly hurt the brothers and sisters of migrant workers the self-esteem. Media resources are lack of sense of service, not fulfilling the responsibility but depriving them of their right to speak, as is a more serious problem. Meanwhile, the media report perspective also needs correcting. Party paper is tedious while it is difficult to tell the truth of peasant workers, with lack of basic humanistic concerns in commercial newspapers. These are issues needy to solve, agriculture-related media and media reports about peasant workers.Such are the major problems related to media self-construction and self-salvation. It is true that peasant workers are limited for their own history and the reality, making them unable to take initiative to contact with media and get their voices heard, but the mainstream media is off duty in the process, followed by the media professionals to blame. Media do not act to their responsibility just for the sake of the final economic factors. They prefer the economic interests of media organizations and ad revenue trade-off for consideration to the concerns of peasant workers to meet the demands of sponsors. They suppose city dwellers, especially the middle class as their key audiences and consumers. The Government's interference can not be ignored, as is also an important factor--under the pressure of the Government these so-called elite media jobholders are doing manuscript and editing in accordance with the intention of the Government. When the center of power is still the truth center, the media is basically on the world closer to the Government's.Such relationship between media and the audience of peasant workers is very dangerous, so it needs correcting and recovering by means of several measures. The first is the Government's functions to be further brought into play to increase the spread of basic agriculture-related construction. It is bound to increase agricultural support of the cultural construction and improve their ability to contact with mass. This is also an important job, a systematic project, involved in a wide range of work and efforts. The core job is for the media to do. Judging from the self-construction, media organizations, onto the leadership level should not overweigh the economic interests. They need to establish a correct concept of competition and the concept of justice and benefit to guide the journalists to put the relationship of the interests of society and economic benefits together to the correct way, which relates to the long-term development of media career at large. Practitioners in mass media should concern about the weal and woe at the micro-reports, give them understanding and respect, take the initiative to listen to their voices, safeguard their legitimate rights and interests through a variety of information transferring methods to provide clues on their demands to assist, set up the corresponding columns for peasant migrant workers to facilitate the information channels to satisfy their right to know and constantly shape these plates to protect their right to speak. At the macro-building it is best to set up a reasonable agent for peasant migrant workers in the background of the socialism harmonious society formulation and building a new socialism countryside, do the business as the public instrument of social responsibility. Do the reports on the advanced deeds of peasant migrant workers timely, foster excellence typical, play its significant role for the three rural issues resolved as soon as possible and capture the dual urban-rural system as well. It is not just the sensitive issue referred to the agriculture media construction to break the media monopoly and improve business relation system. The introduction of social capital, especially the introduction of agriculture capital to rural areas is necessary in order to ease the pressure on the media.Peasant workers have become a social group that can not be ignored during these days. At building a new socialism countryside and building a harmonious society, the media, as the watch-keeper, should follow the duty on recognizing problems and contradictions, coordinating the interests of society and building a harmonious society, especially for such problems like those from peasant workers to complete the formation of positive interaction between media and peasant workers.
