There are many production facilities in production field of petrochemical works, and its run in gear is very important for assurance of product quality and safe producing. With the development of science and technology, the demand about production facilities is getting heavier, and it is very necessary to establish modern computer supervisory and management system.On the basis of the research on petrochemical works and the analysis and research on the basic capability of industry control computer, field-bus and state view software, this thesis designs and researches the monitoring software system for low-voltage distribution base on KINGVIEW. The system is a part of monitoring system for low-voltage distribution. The monitoring system for low-voltage distribution includes protection units, field-bus network, IPC and the attached software. The function of the system is supervisory and control of remote production facilities. On the basis of combining requirement and application, by comparing with the advantage and disadvantage of KINGVIEW and further researching on the monitoring software system for low-voltage distribution, this thesis puts forward a concept of the universal monitoring module for low-voltage distribution. The design and development of the universal monitoring module for low-voltage distribution are introduced in detail in this thesis, and an applied example base of the module is given.The monitoring software system for low-voltage distribution is connected with protection units by CAN bus. The device running parameters which are collected by protection units are sent to the monitoring software system for low-voltage distribution, and then are saved and displayed. The system can control protection units by sending control information to protection units. By using the monitoring software system for low-voltage distribution, we can supervise and control remotely a mass of production facilities. Comparing with the manual supervisory and control, the monitoring software system for low-voltage distribution can find abnormal situation of production facilities quickly and improve efficiency of production and reduce amount of labor. By further analyzing of the collected data, more benefits to safe producing can be obtained.
