Being profession-oriented, based upon comprehensive quality and competence, the computer major of the professional school aims to cultivate graduates with application skills of software in urgent need. In recent years, more and more emphasis are put upon the practical teaching and development of students practical ability. In their teaching practice, teachers in professional school have summed up their teaching experiences and approaches, however, we are still in need of teaching models suitable for the professional schools and their aims of students development. Enlightened by the ideas that establishment of the teaching model is based upon the innovation of teachers, and teachers should develop their teaching models according to their own situation, I made an attempt to set up and improve a teaching model that fits the aims of students development of professional schools. The study takes as objects the computer teaching in professional school, and is based upon a reformation of teaching models. The thesis is made up of four parts. Based upon the domestic literature on model establishment of teaching computer course, the first part summarizes the successful experience profitable for model establishment and reformation of teaching computers in professional school. The second part is based upon the analysis of material on class observation and evaluation, as well as interview with teachers involved. It is followed by the summarization of experience and approach of teaching computer course, and analysis of characteristics of learning and current states of learning and teaching in professional school. This part also advances a reformation design for teaching computers in accordance with aims and requirements for computer course. Part three deals with the experiment itself which is conducted in computer courses as key courses in computer-aided advertisement design and computer-aided network study classes. Part four attempts to evaluate the achievements of teaching model reformation, as well as the current problems in the reformation process. This part also offers some suggestions to improve computer teaching in professional school. The part ends up with some practical experience for further studies.
