The Design And Implementation Of Remote Video Monitoring System Based On Linux

Nowadays, with the rapid development of multimedia technology and computer network and communication technology, along the new developing direction, the traditional monitored control system is also under continual update and development. Then it turns to be the multimedia digital video monitored control system (MDVMCS), combining the computer network, multimedia and communication technology. The aim of this task is to design a multimedia digital video monitored control server system.MDVMCS is a new fresh control system based on the multimedia technology, concentrated representing in the areas of video digitized, system networked, application multimedia and control intelligentized in the multimedia control system, and fully showing the deep-set integration of the modern information technology and monitored control technology. Comparing with the traditional monitored control system, the MDVMCS, on the basis of LINUX PC and computer network, greatly elevates the image quality and control efficiency, and also being reliable in network transmmiting.This paper, on the basis of computer multimedia and network technology, analyzes the basic principles of video collection and data coding, which are related to MDVMCS, specifically introduces the video collation compressing and real time transport protocols and network multicasting technology in RTP/RTCP, and also illuminates the hardware and software structure in the MDVMCS. Then it analyzes each important software module functions by the design of corresponding multimedia digital video monitored control server system. After being debugged, the MDVMCS, based on the LINUX PC, has already possessed preferable functions and stability. At the end of this paper, the testing and application of MDVMCS are introduced, and some suggestions are given to the realization and expansion of system functions.
