Video monitoring system is an important part of a security system as a strong preventive ability comprehensive system.As an important branch of the Internet of things technology,after 30 years development,the frequency control system is widely used in various occasions with its direct,simple,rich in content,and many other advantages.With the progress of science and technology,video monitoring system has experienced three stages of development,it reached the third generation of network video monitoring system based on IP.Network video monitoring system integrated with web cameras(IPC),multimedia transmission and control,audio and video codec,embedded system technology,which can realize the integration of the video monitoring linkage function innovationly.It can not only transport the audio and video files collected by IPC to the remote monitoring center through network,but also can operate the preview amplification,playback chip,linkage alarm functions through the remote monitoring object flexiblely and effectively,to achieve the double function of monitoring and communication.The main research content of this article is network video monitoring system design and implementation based on Linux,which focuses on the IPC video acquisition and design of GUI in the network video monitoring system.This paper first introduces the development of video monitoring system,and analysis the advantages and disadvantages of each phase.This paper introduces the system hardware and software development platform after analyzes the key technology involved in the system.Hardware development platform is mainly combined with webcams and hi3520 a as the core of the embedded hardware development platform,software development platform is based on ARM-Linux operating system.Based on selected software and hardware development platform,this paper introduces the process of establishing the development environment,including the installation of cross compiler tool chain,kernel configuration,the transplantation of Bootloader,etc.According to the requirements of the overall system design,independent research and development of video acquisition and GUI software design based on the software and hardware platform,and creative development a browser client plug-in system for video monitoring.For each subsystem design,program process and the involved key function is discussed in detail,and the system was tested,the result of the test are analyzed and summarized.
