The modern science and technology have a nice land,people also have morehigh requires,especially in the factory site for life and property security.Forexample,working land of factory,the bank’s vault,complex public places and othersecurity issues where exists so much hidden trouble.video monitoring system ofembedded has became an important field of security protection measures,in therailway station,power station, factory,ATM machine, transportation crossroads,banks and so on places what plays an indispensable role, video monitoringsystem of embedded is widely used in people’s life becase of its features that ishas high performance price and little volume and so on.The system design is consists of three modules: video capture module, thevideo compression module, video transmission module,Video capture is consistsof a USB camera connected to the ARM board,And compression software ofspecific video is selected,at the same time,Transplanted into the ARM boardconstitute a video capture module.network communication technology of the RTP/RTCP transport protocol constitute to video transmission module.at first,the scaffolding of the Linux system environment is designed,Including building cross-compiler environment and cross-compiler, porting U-Boot, the kernel cutting and transplantation, to build the root file system, andtransplanted into the development board. ARM board followed through on thevideo capture module will monitor the point of video data acquisition, videocompression module massive video data compression, in order to ensure thespeed of data transmission, thereby enhancing the system real-time video datatransmission via video transmission module by accessing the cloud to the cloud,access to video surveillance data, and video decoding, video data is displayed inQt software support, and the storage of large amounts of video data is completedby the cloud. Higher packet loss rate of the video data for network transmission using RTP/RTCP network transport protocol to solve this problem ’and the useof cloud computing storage methods to solve the vast amounts of video data to acost of storage; after tests, the video image is clear, real time, networktransmission and stability.
