In this paper,we designed a remote video surveillance system based on ARM control platform on the platform of ship cleaning climbing robot.Due to the rapid development of integrated electronic technology and wireless communication technology,the integration of chips has been increasing.Combined with the demand of monitoring system for climbing robot,the embedded remote monitoring program for climbing robot has been determined.The monitoring system uses C / S(client / server)mode and communicates via Wi Fi.The system server is based on ARM920 T core S3C2440 core processor,embedded Linux operating system as the main software platform,is mainly responsible for video and image Acquisition,coding and transmission;The system client is a monitoring interface written by VS2010 software which is transplanted by Open CV(Open Source Computer Vision Library)visual library.It can receive,decode and display real-time video image data,and can also perform basic post-processing on the displayed video image,which has a better reliability and stability.The main contents of this paper are as follows:First,wireless communication technology and video coding algorithm researchSeveral kinds of wireless communication technologies are compared,and WiFi wireless communication technology is selected according to the subject,and its protocols and principles are introduced in detail.The two encoding algorithms,MPEG-4 and H.264,are studied in depth.Select the most suitable for the system H.264 encoding algorithm.Second,the video surveillance system design and hardware designAccording to the requirement of project design,the overall design framework and hardware design scheme of the monitoring system are put forward.Taking the S3C2440 of ARM core as the core processor,the main functional modules are analyzed and the related hardware circuits are designed.Third,video surveillance system server software designMainly on the robot monitoring system server software analysis and design,the core part of the software is embedded Linux operating system platform to build and V4L2 video image acquisition interface program design,complete USB camera driver and network card driver configuration and transplantation.Fourth,video surveillance system client software designThe VS2010 software which is transplanted by Open CV is used to realize the design of user monitoring interface.The main function of the user monitoring interface program is to realize the receiving of video signal,the interception of the current image and the grayscale and binary processing of images.Fifth,system testing and analysisIn order to ensure the normal operation of the system,the overall system environment,WiFi communication network,image processing results were tested.Among them,the WiFi communication network packet loss rate test,the image processing effect is the image display,grayscale,equalization,binary test.Through the test and analysis,the system transmission process well guarantees the video quality.Through the client,the video data received can be displayed in real time.The processed video image has good definition and the whole system does not appear for long time running test Transmission interruption,with good reliability and stability.
