During the development of precision agriculture in China,field crop monitoring is one of the key factors to be solved..At present,most of China's farmland monitoring system is based on outdoor fixed-point monitoring of pole setting in the crop field,in which the installation and wiring are much complexed and s a lot of manpower and constructed materials are often needed.where the monitoring range is difficult to cover the entire farmland,and even a clear image of the individual crop is hard to be obtained for remote expert system to accurate access and decision analysis.In the paper,a new type of remote control system with mobilizable multi-node real time grape image acquisition based on ARM and Linux operation system is proposed,in order to solve the problems existed in the traditional image acquisition devices of farmland such as the smaller acquisition viewing angle and narrower scope.The designed system is composed of a multi-node monitoring network equipped with 6 mobile surveillance vehicles applying PTZ(Pan/Tilt/Zoom)mechanism.Each developed monitoring device is a working node,mapped to a separate IP address.In the host control terminal on the designed and developed graphical control management interface,,any remote control operations of each node device could be completed through the wireless network by one of Telnet terminal control,form button control mode and cellphone orientation sensor control.Then the image acquisition trolly would move to the designated location of vineyard for collecting images so as to be consistent with commands,and then the collected images are displayed in the control terminal interface through the real-time media stream from the web,.Finally the sampled grape images are stored in computer or rewound at any point in the media.In this paper,the remote control system architecture,hardware and software platform selection and installation are mainly discussed,after that the software programming and debugging are realized.The results of field test in grapery showed that the developed system can meet the real-time requirements of the grape image acquisition,and has a better improvement in the control flexibility and control range compared with those traditional systems.
