Aircraft radio equipments are indispensable communication equipments on the helicopters. It mostly used to communicate with the ground and other aircrafts, and also used to the inner communication, broadcast and record voice in the driver cabin. The aircraft radio equipments are very important to the security of the aircrews. Especially when the paroxysmal events occur, the aircrews need to use the aircraft radio equipment to communicate with the outside in order to ask for help. If the aircraft radio equipments have some failures here, the aftermath will be very incogitable when the aircrews can't use the aircraft radio equipment to communicate with the outside. So to ensure the aircraft radio equipments working normally, we must to check, test and maintain the aircraft radio equipments on schedule.Testing and repairing works for Z-8A helicopter was realized by various instruments which the function was monotonous for a long time. There are many problems: need more testing instruments, complex connecting and operating, more artificial factors which affect the quality of testing and maintain, ask the operator for higher stuff. Further more, the bulky testing system causes a lot of inconvenience for transporting when working on the helicopter. So it's very necessary to design an integrative testing system for aircraft radio equipments which can take down and fit together quickly.In this thesis, the hardware design and realization of the aircraft radio equipments testing system is presented. And also the integrative testing system for inner communication box based on the LabVIEW software is realized. With this integrative testing system, we can test the aircraft radio equipments off the helicopter, measure the working voltage and current of the aircraft radio equipments on the real time, check and measure the waveform and frequency of the aircraft radio equipments by using the suited currency test instruments, offerthe working power for the instruments etc. Substitute the hardware testing instruments for software based on virtual instruments can reduce the cubage and wealth of the testing system, improve its flexibility.Chapter one analyzes the development and functions of the helicopters, explain the necessary of designing the testing system based on the flying mission of the helicopter. In Chapter two, the principle and function of the aircraft radio equipments are analyzed, and the detail function requirements are discussed according to the power and feedback when the aircraft radio equipments work properly. Based on the general scheme of the testing system, the hardware is designed in Chapter three. Chapter four designs and realizes the software for the inner communication box testing system by using LabVIEW. The last chapter of this paper is conclusions and future works.
