With the development of modern science and technology and development of modern medical measurement technology, higher requests are put forward to virtual medical instrumental technology. The testing task and object becomes more and more complicated, and with the increasing testing quantity and the requests for higher testing speed and accuracy, the traditional testing style operated by human is no longer right for modern testing tasks. The virtual instrument technology as a perfect combination of the instrumental technology and computer technology makes a wonderful scheme for testing engineers. With the virtual instrument technology, doctors only have to send the signals to be tested into computers via I/O interface devices, and then with special VI developing tools and the abilities of data analyzing, data processing and data storing of computers, they can easily design a VI system which meets special testing requests. This paper puts emphases on a VI system designed for automotive testing of human bodys'blood pressure.Since lots of factors such as pumping blood ability of heart, heart rate, vascular resistance, flexibility of main artery and big artery, body blood capability and hemal physical state can be reflected by blood pressure, it is of great importance to be one physiological parameter for body cycle system enginery. It is significant for clinic medicine, particularly for wardship of dangerous patients and anaesthetised completely patients. With the analysis of various ways of noninvasive blood measure, oscillometric method was chose to measure the noninvasive blood pressure aimed at the requirement of the system. Upon the basis of mechanical model of blood pressure, arithmetic to identify valid blood pressure parameter in order to advance the accuracy of the measurement.The designing of extractive technology for original pulse signal can manage the low-pass filter, high-pass filter and the amplification by grade, filter interference and noise, and then provide support for the data obtaining of blood pressure. The VI auto test system studied by this paper is based on a PC,two medical sensors and one data acquisition cards and it is developed with the graphical virtual instruments programming tool LabVIEW7.0, which is produced by NI. With this developing environment, all the hardware is integrated into a well functioning auto test system.
