In this paper, the virtual instrument technique is used in the research of non-destructive testing instrument of pod. It has analysised the vibration signal of pod and discussed the processing of data and the mathematics model of NDT of pod. It also has researched the application of virtual instrument, develops a detecting platform with powerful ability of data processing by COM object and realizes the automatic testing.At first, the scheme of NDT of pod in this paper is based on vibration testing. The paper has demonstrated the feasibility in theory. Secondly, it consists of hardware part and the soft system. The vibration system of hardware is based on virtual instrument. The soft system of Virtual instrumentation designed by LabVIEW consists of signal generator, system monitor and the testing of pod. It uses COM object to inosculate various perplexing data processing arithmetic. This method combines the powerful ability of arithmetic and the friendly graphic program method of LabVIEW; it also enhances the function of the testing system. Thirdly, it acquires the vibration signal on the platform of Virtual instrument, researches the basic method of data processing, analyzes the characteristic of signal and uses wavelet to decompose the original vibration signal. The vibration signal of pupa is denoised and flatted. Fourthly, the paper extracts the character value of various useful frequency bands. It adopts fuzzy clustering and correlation analyzing to select characteristic values, this method improves the uncertainty of measuring. At last, the mathematics model of pod testing is constructed.The testing platform based on virtual instrument has friendly interface and powerful function, it can reach a good testing precision. But it needs to make efforts to get a better precision. The research of this paper has formed a base of deep theory and experiment for the research of NDT of pod.
