In the space vessel, inertial navigation equipment is an electrical system which has high navigation accuracy and complex structure. The daily maintenance and testing not only requires high technology content, but also is very tedious. At present there are still plenty of shortcomings in the domestic traditional test method, such as low degree of automation, high artificial misjudgment rate and expensive cost. It already can not meet the requirements of technical development. Compared to traditional testing methods, a new generation of automatic test system formed through virtual instrument has the advantages of rapid and low cost. It is successfully applied in engineering testing, and achieved excellent results.On account of a certain type of inertial navigation equipment in the Yuanwang space vessel, this paper designs a test system of inertial navigation equipment which is based on virtual instrument by using LabVIEW. This system can conduct comprehensive testing and fault diagnosis for inertial navigation equipment.In the first place, it carries on the overall design for test system of inertial navigation equipment based on virtual instrument, providing design scheme of hardware and software. Hardware part completes design of signal conditioning board and offline test board, type selection of industrial computer and data acquisition, and realizes the construction of the hardware platform. In the software design part, firstly, in VC++6.0, using DriverStudio3.2and DDK kit complete the design of the ISA driver. The driver sets up the bridge of windows operating system and external equipment; Secondly, the test system is designed and debugged under the LabVIEW8.2compilation environment, the FTA is studied. The test system realizes the function of on-line monitoring, off-line testing and fault diagnosis for inertial navigation equipment.Through on-site commissioning and applications show that inertial navigation equipment test platform which is studied and designed by this subject is of stable and simple operation, full-featured, easy to use and satisfaction to personal demand; and the test platform has good scalability and portability so that slightly changes can be applied to test inertial navigation equipment of other vessel.
