| In the information age, economy globalization and network has been a vital challenge for enterprises. How to master the true and timely information for supporting decision and make use of the limited resources effectively, is one of main problems for enterprises. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, which combines modern information technology and the excellent business process idea, provides an effective solution for improving the competitiveness of enterprises. Taking Eastern Boiler Valve Ltd as our research object, basic principles and realization methods of Sale Management System (SMS) and Quality Management System (QMS) are studied in detail. Applying .NET Platform, the software of Web-based Browse/Server-architecture SMS and QMS is developed. The detailed contents are as follows:1. Based on analyzing the status and evolutional trends of ERP technology, the system architecture and the key technologies of ERP system are studied and explored, the Web-based 3-tier B/S architecture is selected as the architecture of the system.2. According to the practical operation situations of Enterprise's sale management(SM) department, the requirement analysis of SMS is completed, the operation flow chart and the data flow chart of SM are drew, and the special functions of the sub-system is designed in detail.3. According to the practical operation situations of Enterprise's Quality Management (QM) department, the requirement analysis of QMS is completed, the operation flow chart and the data flow chart of QM are drew, and the special function of the sub-system is designed.4. In virtue of Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Enterprise Manager Console, the database system of SMS and QMS are designed detailedly, which includes building database, tables, views and stored procedures according to relational operation flow of SM and QM.
