With the rapid development of computer technology, the application field of modern database is expanding wider and wider. The new demand for higher database technology also rises , especially when the application demand in real一time field can technology. Since late dropped and the memory 1980's, be met by the conventional database price of semiconductor continuously capacity increased, letting which result in the occurrence of main memory database. By main operating part of the database reside constantly in the main memory, and utilizing the quick access speed, the system performance is greatly enhanced. However meanwhile, new design problem of database itself has occurred. The algorithm and data structure of database must be re-designed so that CPU and memory space can be used more efficiently.With the features of platform independency, easy extendibility, good interactivity and strong semantics, XML becomes the factual standard of data interchange. XML based data interchange model could easily implement the description of the isomeric databases and the interchange between the data sources, thereby it could solve the problem of the deficiency of the optimized federated query that exists in the current isomeric data integration and the problem of poor extendibility of the data integration of Web based isomeric database. First, the thesis discusses the related theory of data interchange of isomeric database, analyzes the traditional data interchange methods and problems, discusses XML technology related to the isomeric database data interchange and investigate the support of the typical database products to the XML. Then it analyzes the possibility of XML based data interchange from the aspects of schema binding of XML and relation database, data format binding of XML and relation database as well as the implementation of large object data interchange between isomeric databases by using XML. Finally, it develops a XML based three-layermodel for implementing data interchange of isomeric database and implements the data interchange between Oracle database and SQL Server 2000 database by using JDBC and DOM API through XML under the JAVA environment. In this paper the achievement of the thesis has the features of universality and extendibility because the basic theory of implementation is based on XML and the JAVA platform is used as the develop environment. In addition the achievement is not only applicable to the university, but also to the other fields. It also could be used as the basis of the universal data interchange platform. The whole article is divided into seven chapters,of which the main body is from the 2nd to the 5th, and the main content of each chapter is as the following:Chapter one is the introduction. It introduces necessity and meaning of the paper's study, summary of the present situation of relative research achievements at home and abroad, and main content and basic train of thoughts of the research in this paper.Therefore, they are usually developed, deployed, managed and maintained on the network-computing platform. Currently, three models of the software component are CORBA, DCOM and Java EJB. At the beginning of the thesis, three models are compared, and on this basis, Java and CORBA techniques are used to design and develop a component named DAB,which can access most kinds of database. This component offers a uniform interface for all application software, by which you can access most kinds of databases transparently (if only the database sustains JDBC or ODBC). In order to improve the performance of the component, the technique of database connection pool is used internally, and in the process of disposing the data muster, the Java Object Sequential zing technique is used. On the other hand, a general method of disposing the data muster is presented to non-java language client. The efficiency of this method is lower than the foregoing.The paper testified the application of the distributed database technology in the management information system by designing a system for a medical corporation as practical example in detail witch includes require analysis, devising function, designing distributed database, safety insurance and applying system. It can be believed that the distributed database can satisfy the needs of the separated corporationstructure, be a substantial basis to improve the efficiency of the work and create more profit.Chapter six is a summary of the whole paper. At the end of this chapter,the paper prospects the direction of future researches.E-Commerce is still the focus of the logistics business world and scholars'attention in our country. Studying a enterprise development pattern suitable for our national conditions is the highlights of research in our E-Commerce academic society,which needs to be further studied in the future.
