To measure up the requests, liquid medicine bottle made from pipe must be washed and inspected before being bottled. Bottle visual inspection system using optics technology, CCD technology and image processing technology can inspect bottle without any touch. The advantages of the equipment are high speed and high precision. Moreover it can overcome the shortage of human's eyes and improve greatly production efficiency and automation degree greatly.Aiming at the characteristic of bottle inspection, this dissertation discusses the project as a whole .The main work are summarized as follows:1. Compared the visual inspection systems at present in the world, an application model of the image processor for vision inspection is designed.2. Designed the peripheral interface board on the basis of the 1394 controller chip, TSB43AA82 produced by TI Corp.3. According to application model, hardware is selected firstly, and then particular hardware circuitis of image acquisition is designed.4. Designed and developed the acquisition and transfer program of image on the basis of TMS320C6416.The paper's purpose is to study the architecture of IEEE-1394 and to finish the design of image capture and processing circuit. Finally we can lay a good foundation for Motion Analysis in Images, The hardware,firmware is the main focus of our project ,so we emphasize on the idea and method of the circuit design. The research and practice possess certain practical significance and referential value in understanding IEEE1394 and developing the peripheral interface circuit.
