Nowadays the Chinese food safety is experiencing an important transferring stage. Someone argues that it is due to the media's unbalanced attention that consumers worry about the current situation of food safety. They points out that it goes against the laws of media supervising that media participates in discussing consumer's food.Considering the special importance of food quality safety and the different understandings of the food industry to the media's role in supervising food safety, the thesis uses CCTV's 'Quality Report Weekly' as an example to discuss what the media should do to achieve its commitment.
