Developing with the Internet, E-commerce based on Internet grows up rapidly and behaved with speed and efficiency in many fields. But the information is complex in the traditional E-commerce system, so it is time-consuming and exertive in searching for available information. The process of intetactive information querying and operating need be operated online, which not only wastes bandwidth, but also is low-efficiency. So the E-commerce mode can not satisfy the development of the E-commerce.Along with the progress of network technology and AI, the research and application of mobile agent has attracted many people. Using the characteristic and import it to the E-commerce, we can get a new E-commerce mode, which has more definite adaptability and advantage than the traditional one.This thesis firstly analyzed the lack of traditional E-commerce and brought a new mode which takes in the mobile agent technology. It introduced the domestic and foreign research actuality and the existend problems. Secondly, it systematically introduced this technology, compared the technology with other distributed computing ones, and analyzed the support of Java to it detailedly. About the developing platform, this thesis emphasized on IBM Aglet and researched on the system structure, object model and developing software package. Based on the fundamental research, the thesis proposed an electronical auction system model. And it detailedly introduced the design aim, system deploy, system structure, each function module, database and security design.During the introduction of each function module, it emphasized on the core module. Finally, based on the design of the system, it implemented the archetypal system and discussed the key technologies in it.
