With stepping into the 21st century, more and more enterprises hope to improve the own competitive capacity through carrying out electronic commerce, and get more profits. Electronic Commerce is important for the development of enterprises as the great creations of the 20(th) century being important for the advancement of society. So, as the core of electronic commerce, electronic negotiation and negotiation system are regarded, and become the hot topic of the research. It is great significance about the research of negotiation system. So far, in China and even worldwide, research of negotiation system is in the stage of formal model research, and put forward some models, such as negotiation support system (NSS), automatic negotiation, and so on. They will become the base of the future research. But some models are simplified and supposed, and they can't support several kinds of negotiation forms, such as automatic bargain, one-to-many negotiation, and so on. Otherwise, some successful applications are the results of researching the particular part of negotiation system, such as NSS, auction, and so on. Thus, negotiation system needs to be further researched. Based on the R&D of "cooperating commerce system" of the National High-Tech. Programs for CIMS-"Development and Applications of Networked Manufacturing System for Special Economic Regions in Zhejiang Province", in the first place, explores the negotiation system at the "system level" deeply, the whole framework model of "multi-agent automatic negotiation system based on Web Services" is proposed, and carrying out deeper research on the key technologies for implementing the negotiation system. Firstly, from the point of Web Services, model of the whole life cycle of negotiation system is constructed. And all kinds of negotiation forms are encapsulated in the form of negotiation service. Secondly, propose a kind of arithmetic of negotiation protocol of automatic bargain based on the value function, realize the automatic negotiation process of bargain. Lastly, applying the multi-agent technology, we put forward the method and strategy of implementing one-to-many negotiation based on the frame of this negotiation system. Thus, some difficult problems of preventing the development of negotiation system partly are solved. Firstly, from the naissance and development of electronic commerce, summarizes and expatiates on the definition, type, characteristic, research content and development of electronic negotiation and negotiation system. Through analyzing the current research status of this field, the key problems in negotiation system field are put forward. And according to the background of the project, the significance, main content and way of research of this dissertation is presented. Secondly, based on the research about automatic negotiation sysetm, express the technical thinking on the intelligent negotiation. And proposes the technical framework model of the intelligent negotiation and builds the basic structure of negotiation agent and multi-agent intelligent negotiation process model. Based on the above research, the whole framework model of the multi-agent automatic negotiation system based on Web Services is studied. Combining the five-level technical framework and realization framework of Web Services, and the technical thinking on intelligent negotiation, the framework modelis established and its negotiation process and functions of every part are introduced and analyzed. And comparing the kind of the framework model of negotiation system with another, its advantages anddisadvantages are pointed out. Then, two important parts of the whole framework model------negotiation register center and negotiation server become the topic of research.During the research of the model of the negotiation register center (NRC) based on the Web, firstly, analyzes and explains that NRC is important for the negotiation system. It provides a platform at whichbuyer and seller can be found each other and it also is the first step of negotiation. Secondly, accordingto the thinking of UDDI, designs the framework of the NRC and introduces the functions of every part. Finally, the three main parts of the NRC that provide the services of register and search—database, register interface and search interface are in detail researched and designed. And we bring forward theirframeworks and technologies of implementation.During the research of the model of the negotiation server based on Web Services that supports manyforms of negotiation, firstly, the design thinking, the whole framework, function and characteristic ofthe negotiation server based on Web Services are discussed. Secondly, the inner structure of thenegotiation server is deeply researched, including negotiation requirement, negotiation process andnegotiation protocol, and so on. Negotiation protocol will decided the type of negotiation serviceprovided by the negotiation server in this model. Then we propose a kind of arithmetic of negotiationprotocol of bargain, and discuss how negotiation server automatically finishes the negotiation processof bargain. Finally, we discuss the framework and strategy of one-to-many negotiation under the frameof this negotiation system.Thirdly, according to the requirement of development of enterprise and negotiation system, weillustrate the application foreground and practicability of the multi-agent automatic negotiation systembased on Web Services. Then based on the practical project, we expatiate on the implementationprocess of this negotiation system.Lastly, the main works and contributions in this dissertation are concluded, and some suggestions of thefuture works are proposed.
