Research And Application Of Mobile Agent In E-Commerce

E-Commerce can improve the efficiency of enterprises and make it more competitive. Consequently, E-Commerce is developing globally in a swift and violent manner as a new type of commercial mode. However, in the course of its development, it is becoming clear that traditional E-Commerce technology hasn't met the state of the inflatable information and the overweight transmit load on Internet. People need a sort of new technology badly to set up fast, high-efficient, intelligent E-Commerce system.In recent years, the research of agent has risen extensively. Agent technology is fast developing due to its advantageous method of executing tasks. Further, Agent can help to liberate users from a vast and complex ocean of information. Mobile agent (MA) is the combine result of agent technology and distributed technology. Firstly, MA can move according to the hope of user; secondly, MA can take action independently according to the change of environment; and finally, MA can return the result after finishing the task. Therefore, it has become hot research subject among the domestic and overseas scholars, as well as in the enterprise that applying MA technology on Internet. E-Commerce based on MA can offer intelligent and automated agent service for both consumers and enterprise; it can reduce greatly the communication cost of the online commercial activity; it can also meet lots of demands, such as mobile computing in E-Commerce, the automatic installation of software upgrades, and the issuance and collection of the online information. Thus, MA fills the gap left by traditional E-Commerce mode. It not only meets the need of E-Commerce development, but also gives full play to the technological advantage of MA.This paper analyses firstly the existing problem in traditional E-Commerce, puts forward the design thought of E-Commerce based on MA. Secondly introduces systematically the technology of agent and MA. Thirdly, lucubrates to the system structure, object model, message mechanism and the commonsoftware package of IBM Aglet platform. Then brings forward the design framework of E-Commerce based on MA, confirms the design aims, configuration, architecture, and concrete process of the E-Commerce based on MA, designs the system adopting Object Oriented Analysis (OOA), and proposes the design scheme of the database and the security. Finally, develops and realizes the Mobile Phone shopping net-"MP Bargain" to verify the science and practicability of research work.
