The 9.11 accident has put forward an unprecedented demand on the disaster defense work of information system. The development of evaluation system on disaster defense is aimed to help enterprises and organizations to hold a more explicitly practical demand on the disaster defense of their information systems, to provide them with a scientific evaluation work flow and plans, and to carry out the evaluation of disaster defense on information system effectively. The evaluation arithmetic discussed by this paper is an important part of the system. The rationality of evaluation arithmetic will influence the evaluation result of the whole evaluation system.This paper discusses how to form an index system on disaster defense ability of information system with AHP thinking, summarizes the general steps on AHP calculation on the weight of indexes, and gives out a solution when the judgment matrix is not consistent. The paper also introduces the fuzzy mathematics theory on fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, summarizes the general evaluation steps on fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, and emphasize on how to select fuzzy operator and membership function. Based on the above study, the paper put forward the flow chart of AHP arithmetic and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation arithmetic, and implements above arithmetic with object oriented programming.In order to verify the useable attributes of AHP and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, the paper also gives out a practical sample on the evaluation of the disaster defense ability of some bank in Shanghai. The result shows AHP and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation is effective.
