On Management Of Network Information Service Of The Library

Effective management is the assurance of quality and efficiency of network information service of the library. The network information attendants of the library should produce products of network information service and meet user's consumption and that can create value for user,which are based on the information resources of the network and technical equipment, on the premise of valid management and regarding value of the user and library as the orientation. The network information service of the library develops gradually from the simple information issue and information sharing into the multi-function service of intelligence, from content to serve leading type , from passive service to active service, purposes are all for offering profound , humanized information service for users, more better, more quickly, more fully utilize the information resources of the network. So, the focal point of management of network information service should reflect the trend and spirit of network information service, these require that we should regard user as the goal in management, set up management mode in order to meet the needs of what users required. At present, the network information service of some libraries is in a kind of disordered state that breaks away from "regard user as the centre"service aim and influences the key value of service, namely influences the library to create value for user. This text will discuss the management of the network information service of the library in terms of a microcosmic, analyze the relation of key elements of management, offer the foundation for looking for the effective management mode and appraisal method in network information service of the library, then promote the improvement and development of the network information service efficiency of the library. The author has proposed some management modes of network information service, such as spot-formed management mode , line-shaped management mode of business procedure, netted management mode of management subject and a kind of ideal management mode namely environmental management mode. No matter which kind of management modes are adopted, firstly we all should insist on people, the spirit taking courting user's value as centre, use various kinds of management thought that based on quality control, concrete resource management, relation management, organizational management, to improve the management level and realize the individualization of user's network information service and create value for user through serving. Finally, the author explore to set up the long mechanism of managing appraisal of the result of network information service that regard user as the centre, to structure the user value space and appraise the result of management of network information service with user's value.
