The Applied Resarch On Network Planning Technology In Yifu Library Projeets Of Jiujiang Uniersity

Network Planning Technology (NPT), an important management skill, is playingan important role in today's project management, which can comprehensively finish therational distribution between the project resources and constraints and have innateadvantages compared to other scheduled plans. However, although its performance issuperior, the complexity of its application and the uneven abilities of the projectmanagers lead to only the formality of the technology, whose effectiveness is not fullyplayed to provide help for the project management.In this paper, the author will start the discussion from the generation of the NPT,its development and present application. Meanwhile, the author will point out theproblems in its application and the underlying reasons that have caused the problems.And also,from the whole application process of the NPT in network planning, runningand optimization, the author will put forward a strategy of increasing the application ofthe NPT by steps. A Chinese saying goes"A thousand miles'journey takes every step."By doing this, the application and feasibility of the NPT will be greatly enhanced. Inthis paper, especially based on the combination of the activity - on– node(AON)network plan and the Bar plan, the author will put forward a new term"the Bar-AONNetwork", which will make the network planning become more integrated, systematicand easier to optimize, and also make the gunter drawing intuitionistic, easy- drawing,practicable and popular. All these will lead to the qualitative leap of the NPT. Finally, based on the management practice of the author's workplace, the project ofJiujiang University Shaw Library construction used the Network Planning in themanagement, which made the project finished in advance for 34 days to the time limitfor a project before the new term began and made the resources rationally distributed.The main tasks of this paper include the following aspects: by analysis the authorfinds out the problems that exist in the application of the NPT; the strategies applied toimprove the network planning technology are proposed step by step; the Bar-AONNetwork plan is proposed; the applications of the Bar-AON Network are introduced; theoptimization of the gunter drawing is based on the theory of the network planningoptimization; and finally, the methods proposed are applied through the model in theShaw Library project of Jiujiang University.
